The Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital Foundation is dedicated to supporting the lifesaving work of Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital by serving as the central agency through which charitable contributions are made. The Foundation provides philanthropic support that helps advance the hospital’s mission to heal the body, mind, and spirit of those it touches.
Thanks to the generosity of our donors, the Foundation has helped fund innovative programs, lifesaving equipment, advanced technology, and vital services that enhance the care and comfort of the children and families we are privileged to serve.
Below are just a few examples of the impact philanthropy has made possible:
- More than 27,000 families have stayed free of charge at the Conine Clubhouse, allowing them to remain close to their child throughout treatment.
- AngelEye cameras in every Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), enabling parents and loved ones to securely check in on their babies when they cannot be at the bedside.
- More than $250,000 in financial assistance has helped families facing financial hardship cover essential expenses, including mortgage or rent payments, utilities, car payments and insurance.
- Integrative therapies, including yoga, music, art, and gaming support the emotional, physical, and mental well-being of patients and families.
- Animal-assisted therapy provides comfort, companionship, and moments of joy during a child’s hospital stay.
